Star Program begins November 21

Those needing assistance with providing Christmas presents for their children, through the age of 17, are urged to contact the Star Program at 360-431-5232. All calls will be handled discreetly.
Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office or Health and Human Services at 42 Elochoman Valley Rd. They must be returned no later than November 21.
Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and needed to provide for the stars that are not taken. Donations may be left at Bank of the Cascades or Bank of the Pacific in Cathlamet, or mail them to Star Program, PO Box 276, Cathlamet, WA 98612.
Trees will be displayed at local businesses from November 21 to December 15. Delivery of presents will be December 19 through December 23.
The trees will be in Bank of the Cascades, Bank of Pacific, Cathlamet Pharmacy, Waterway Espresso, The Duck Inn and Skamokawa Store.
Gifts may be returned by December 19 to the place where the star was picked up.
