The Care Careers Academy will offer a daytime Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class from Tuesday, December 6 through the month of December. Tuition will be discounted $50. The course provides all the knowledge essential to complete and pass the CNA state testing.

Becoming a CNA allows graduates to work in a variety of medical settings including nursing homes, doctor’s offices, retirement homes, adult family homes and hospitals, as well as in-home senior/disabled care. CNA training is also a prerequisite for many nursing schools. There is currently a shortage of CNAs locally and throughout the United States. Nursing Assistant careers hold one of the top five positions for job growth in the nation due to the increased aging population.
