The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Wahkiakum County Port 1 Commissioners met December 22 to consider bids from contractors to repair the launch ramp and to build an abutment for the dock by the rock pile.

Only two bids were received, one for each project.

The commissioners approved a $14,343.08 bid from James Trott to repair the launch. They also approved a $7,450 bid from BP Construction to complete the construction of the bulkhead.

Due to permits, the work must be completed during the month of January.
