Local PTO collecting box tops for education

February 2, 2017

To The Eagle:

The PTO would like to thank everyone in the community for your continued support and help in all of the school activities that we work on. From the Fall Fundraisers, Book Fairs, Christmas Shop, everything. It's because of students, parents, and community that all of these events do well!

We have another fun activity coming up in February. It's our annual Box Top for Education Drive. Our next submission date is February 27 and we want this one to be the biggest our school has ever turned in! For every one of those little pink Box Tops that you can find mainly on General Mills Cereals, and 1000's of other things, we can get 10 cents for each one turned in to our school. When we do our two annual drives for these we usually collect about 5000, this time we’re aiming high for 10,000. Wow!

We need your help, We will have collection envelopes at the local Cathlamet Market, where as you are shopping if you see a box top on the item you are purchasing you may tear it off at the store and place it in the envelope right away.

Please look in the classified section for a picture ad regarding the Box Top Logo, if you are not sure what they look like.

All funds earned from this are going towards our Field Day. So please help our school do great!
