The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

We are all gearing up for the Wahkiakum County Fair starting this Thursday! It looks to be great weather to enjoy all the fun activities.

We have a new rolling bookcase so we will be able to display our Free Books outside again. The Book Exchange will continue for now, so please feel free to stop in and pick up a new book (or two or three).

During our extreme heat wave the Community Center remained open as a cooling station for the public, offering snacks, ice water and an air conditioned place to beat the heat. We stayed open until the library opened up to also offer a respite from the heat. In the event that we experience another heat wave, we will again offer a cooling station. All are welcome!
