The Grays River Grange will sponsor a spelling bee during the Wahkiakum County Fair.

On Saturday August 19, Kids Day, those 12 and under are admitted free all day. The Spelling Bee will take place on the Main Stage, scheduled for 2 p.m.

As is the Grange tradition, the Grays River Grange is sponsoring the Spelling Bee with prizes, gifts, surprises, and fun for kids entering grades 3-8.

Sponsoring the spelling bee acknowledges the Grange history of purchasing school books for children in need.

Kids may sign up at the Fair Office on Saturday, or they can also visit the Grange Table in the T-Building at the Fair for more information.
