A dedication ceremony has been planned for the memorial for local men and women involved in the commercial fishing industry on September 24 at 1 p.m. at the Elochoman Slough Marina. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.

The memorial, which is located at the marina, currently has room for 14 more names. A third large plaque has been ordered, and it will have room for another 54.
