October 9 — 8:50 a.m. A Deep River resident was concerned that her neighbors were going to steal her dog after she discovered they had put a new collar on it. 9:36 a.m. A caller reported seeing a driver with a suspended license behind the wheel in Cathlamet. 10:19 a.m. A caller found several sheep on an Elochoman Valley road. 3:24 p.m. The sheriff’s office was notified that a road in the Rosburg area would be closed temporarily while a culvert was installed. 4:46 p.m. A Rosburg resident reported that a neighbor’s pet deer had pushed her down the side of a hill. She had some superficial injuries but refused treatment. 5:53 p.m. An alarm was activated at a Rosedale home. 8:08 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Cathlamet resident who had lost consciousness.

October 10 — 10:11 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle speeding on a Deep River road. 11:03 a.m. Child Protective Services asked for assistance in Grays River. 11:13 a.m. An individual was taken into custody during a vehicle stop in Cathlamet. 12:17 p.m. A third party reported that his mother was being harassed by a neighbor in Cathlamet. 3:45 p.m. A caller reported a hole in the Puget Island bridge. The Washington State Department of Transportation was notified. They repaired the hole. 5:22 p.m. A caller reported a domestic disturbance at a Cathlamet home. Deputies, a representative from the mental health and state patrol responded. A search warrant was executed and an individual was taken into custody. 7:47 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a child. A deputy investigated; the child was okay. 10:35 p.m. A caller reported that a juvenile was outside an Elochoman Valley home, honking a car horn and yelling for the last 20 minutes.

October 11 — 2:02 a.m. A caller reported an unattended bonfire in the Cape Horn area. 2:03 a.m. The District 4 Fire Department responded to a brush fire reported in the Cape Horn area. 8:05 a.m. A sexual assault was reported. 9:08 a.m. A caller reported a cow on Messinger Hill Road. 10:06 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle was repeatedly speeding up and down a Deep River road. 5:24 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported hearing shots fired. 6:07 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on an Elochoman Valley resident. 6:26 p.m. A caller reported a cow standing in the middle of an Elochoman Valley road. 6:47 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an ailing Rosedale resident.

October 12 — 12:58 p.m. An individual was taken into custody following a domestic disturbance at an Elochoman Valley home. 3:09 p.m. A caller reported that a large rock had fallen onto SR 4 near Nassa Point. 4:11 p.m. A caller reported a dog running loose in downtown Cathlamet. The dog was caught and the owner was notified. 6:45 p.m. A deputy responded to a one vehicle accident in the Elochoman Valley. There were no injuries reported.

October 13 — 10:03 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance transported a clinic patient complaining of abdominal pain to the hospital. 11:48 a.m. A deputy was requested for a civil standby at an Elochoman Valley home. 1:47 p.m. An alarm was activated at a Rosedale home. A deputy investigated and found everything secure. 3:52 p.m. A caller reported an aggressive driver heading west on SR 4 near Nassa Point. 4:17 p.m. A caller reported a speeding driver on a Deep River road.

October 14 — 12:44 a.m. Deputies and the Skamokawa Fire Department responded after a power outage was reported on East Valley road when a vehicle struck a power pole. An individual was taken into custody and a tow truck was called. The PUD was notified and restored power by 7:03 a.m. 2:59 a.m. A caller reported that a juvenile was missing. The youth returned to her home at 4:31 a.m. 4:48 a.m. A caller requested assistance for a relative who was behaving strangely after possible drug use. A representative from the mental health department responded. 8:59 a.m. A tow truck was called when a stripped vehicle was found on an Elochoman Valley road. Investigation determined that it had been stolen.

October 15 — 11:17 a.m. An alarm was activated at an east county home. 11:30 a.m. Deputies and the District 4 Fire Department responded to a trailer fire in the Elochoman Valley. The PUD was notified and state patrol handled traffic. A fire investigator was requested and then canceled. 3:34 p.m. A caller was concerned that hunters were trespassing on a neighboring property while the owner was away. It turned out to be the property owner’s son. 3:56 p.m. A caller reported speeding vehicles on a Deep River road. 5:36 p.m. A caller complained about vehicles traveling on a Deep River road. 6:26 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on the person affected by the trailer fire in the Elochoman Valley. The individual was staying with a friend. 6:34 p.m. An alarm was activated at a Cathlamet home. A deputy investigated and found everything secure. 6:39 a.m. The Grays River ambulance aided a Grays River resident.

October 16 — 6:55 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an Elochoman Valley resident who had fallen. 8 a.m. A caller reported that a purse had been stolen from a car in the Rosedale area. 11:50 a.m. A caller reported a possible drunk driver heading west on SR 4. 2:39 p.m. An individual in Grays River with a warrant was taken into custody.
