The Wahkiakum Community Center is seeking volunteers! Stop by the Center and find out what types of events and tasks you can volunteer for to help our Community Center thrive.

Do you have a special family pie recipe you would like to bake and share at our second annual Pie Social? Come in or call us here at the Community Center if you would like to sign up to bake a pie and/or volunteer to be a server for National Pie Day on Tuesday, January 23 at 11 a.m. This is an opportunity to visit with community members over free pie and coffee.

This Friday’s movie will be “Harry Potter – Order of the Phoenix.” Young wizard-in-training Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for his fifth year of studies, only to find that the magical community seems to be in a curious state of denial about his recent encounter with the sinister Lord Voldemort. It is rated PG-13. The movie starts at 7:00 p.m., and popcorn is free. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks.
