The Russian invasion

February 22, 2018

To The Eagle:

Russia has never been our friend. During WWII Russia was an ally to help defeat Germany, that’s where the ‘friendship’ ended. Since then, Democracy has been at odds with the authoritarian rule of Russia-USSR-Russia. Eastern Europe was brutally ruled and used at their digression. Then until now, Russia has openly worked against the US interests.

I believe we have much more infiltrated corners in our government, like the White House itself. So much has happened in this administration, that it’s difficult to remember the beginning. Let’s see, anyone remember the change of policy by the RNC, on Russian interference in Ukraine? Who orchestrated that? Does anyone remember Trump, giving extremely sensitive, classified information, to the Russians in the White House, with Russian press, where US press wasn’t allowed? Then later Trump calls Democrats treasonous, for not bowing to him.

Does anyone remember the ‘Steele Dossier” originated with a group of Republican ‘never Trumpers’, but when he was nominated passed on. Does anyone remember all our intelligence services agreed Russia tried to mess with our elections, long ago, now again with details.

Does anyone remember Trump saying Russia will pay for their interference? Me either. In fact, Trump has not implemented the sanctions approved, almost unanimously in Congress, please someone tell me why. With the latest indictments of Russians, has he said anything other than: Told you it wasn’t me, I didn’t have anything to do with it. But nothing to fight the cyber intrusion by the Russians. Still he calls it a hoax, witch-hunt, fake news and more.

Many say follow the money. I am sure Mueller is, at some point, we will find out how much monetary influence Putin has on Trump. Keeping in mind, Trump could no longer get banks to loan him money, as he bankrupted so many times and stiffed the banks and many others. Deutche Bank is being investigated for ties to Russia’s mob and Putin, that’s where Trump got big loans. Trump also had many real estate sales in the form of cash, some noted at huge amounts above estimated value.

How about all the staffers in the White House w/o clearances, handling our top securities, much worse than Clintons e-mail server, in my opinion. I don’t believe it’s a problem with the security process, I believe it’s a problem with the choice of people in the White House. I got lots more, but will be over my word limit. Vote in November!
