Westend news:

I hope everyone made it through the wild winds and rain this past few days, and enjoyed the one day of warm, dry weather. My driveway was under water for at least a day and it looks like there is much more rain to come.

It looks like lots of progress is being made at the Rosburg Store. So far I have not had the opportunity to speak with the new owners, but they seem to be working really hard to reopen. I know I’m looking forward to having a local place to pick up last minute items and purchase gas close by. Another spot to shop local.

I wanted to say thank you to Sheryl Iblings for being such a great mail carrier all those years, and congratulate her on her retirement. We are looking forward to our new carrier giving us the same service for as many years.

Happy Birthday to Caleb Hazen, Zane Parrino, Lori Scott, Bill Bocker, Jon Chapman, Philip Penttila and Sean Roberts. Wishing each of you a perfect day.

Happy Anniversary to Lance and Blair Gray. Here’s to many more celebrations together.
