Grays River Valley Center’s new year has begun, and it’s time to renew sponsorships. Thank you for all that have already renewed. We are pleased you are enjoying the facility, and glad you continue to do so.

Some of our events have changed due to a few board members resigning, and a few on vacation.

Bingo night scheduled for April 21 has been cancelled. We will reschedule later on.

We are also excited to announce that The Grays River Valley Center is in charge of the Super Sale which is scheduled for May 25 and May 26; two days this year. If you would like to reserve a table please contact me at 360-484-3428.

Also the Grays River Valley Center at Johnson Park is currently looking to recruit two new board members. The role of a board member is to support, guide and advocate the center. Required duties are attending a monthly board meeting, 15 hours per month in volunteering at the center and support GRVC events. Applicants must be a resident of Wahkiakum County.

If interested come to the center and pick up an application. They are located by the office.

Currently the GRVC Advisory board meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m.

Public is welcome to attend. The benefits of being a board member is you get to have a say in the day to day operations of the center, and a year sponsorship free, and becoming a member of the team.

We are additionally looking for volunteers to help in the GRVC library. Applications are also located by the office.

Clubs or groups needing a place to meet: We have the space, call us and book that special event, wedding receptions, birthday parties, etc. The center is available to use, for the community.
