Coming Events--Community Center in Cathlamet

April 26, 2018

Tidy Up the Town, sponsored by Pioneer Community Association, will take place on Saturday morning, April 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. Please join us at the Community Center at 9 a.m., and bring your work gloves, shovels, rakes, hoes and wheelbarrows! We will work on weeding and cleaning up the sidewalks and flower beds around the Library/Community Center and the Waterfront Trail from the stairs at the point to the bridge. This is a fun way to spend with family, teams, classes and friends as we all pitch in together and make Main Street Shine!

Wahkiakum Outdoors and Humanities Washington will host author David Berger as he discusses, “The Razor’s Edge: The Washington Razor Clam Phenomenon”. This presentation will be held on Saturday evening, April 28 at 6:30 p.m., in the River Street Meeting Room in Cathlamet.

This Friday’s movie is rated PG-13. After out-of-work actor loses custody of his three children to his ex-wife, he dresses up in drag to become the matronly Mrs. Doubtfire, the family's new nanny, in order to see his kids every day. The movie starts at 7:00 p.m., and popcorn is free. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or pre-order pizza before the movie.
