Comets in state quarterfinals

The 12-4 Naselle Comet baseball team will journey to Winlock on Saturday to take on the 15-6 Colton Wildcats in a 1 p.m. loser out state quarterfinals game.
The winner will advance to the semifinals to take on the winner of the matchup between 11-5 Quilcene and 13-4 Evergreen Christian.
The winner of the final game will advance to the state championship game May 26, 4 p.m., at Wheeler Field, Centralia.
