Pro bull riding coming soon

To The Eagle:

The Wahkiakum Fair Foundation is working hard to bring the Challenge of Champions Pro Bull Riding exhibition to Wahkiakum County on July 20; the Friday of Bald Eagle Weekend. We would like to thank everyone who has attended our dinners and bake sales and especially the following sponsors for helping with our goal of earning the required promotional fee: Superior Tire, Selix Cabinets, Columbia Ford, Watkins Tractor Supply, Bill and Cindy Faubion, Millennium Bulk, Truant Leather, Wahkiakum West, Bank of Pacific, Cathlamet Realty West and Natalie Mesnier.

If you have not been contacted by a member of the Foundation and would like to be a sponsor for this event, please contact Jean Beerbower or Lore Twiet.

Tickets will go on sale the first week of June. The price is $15 with children under 5 free. Watch for information on where tickets will be available. The next fundraising events will be a bake sale at the Roadkill Saloon on June 2 and Fathers' Day Rib Dinner on June 10 at the Fairgrounds from 1 p.m., to 6 p.m.

We are very excited about hosting this exceptional event in our county and hope everyone will come out and enjoy the fun.
