Hours: Monday through Wednesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (2nd Fridays is the book club, every Friday is Brown Bag Lunch at 11 a.m. and check out the weekly 7 p.m. Friday movie below.

Volunteers still needed and all group leaders and others that utilize the Center that could not make the training please call or email WCC to schedule a time to fill out any additional paperwork and to sign up for fun events or to host. If you need court ordered or volunteer hours we would love to have you serve here.

The next Wahkiakum Outdoors Presentation will be on the local marina. Wahkiakum Port 1 Marina; Facilities, Programs, and Plans. Aug 21, 6:30 p.m., at what is now referred to as The Hope Center, by Todd Souvenir, Wahkiakum Port 1 Maintenance Manager. Todd will cover: History of the Marina, Current Activities, Farmers Market, Dredging Project, Lodging Opportunities, Launch Maintenance, and other topics.

Friday Night Movie on August 10 is a PBS documentary that explores humans and their relationship to four key plants: the apple, potato, tulip, and cannabis. Popcorn provided or order food ahead of time by 6:30 at Maria’s (360) 795-3032 or The Pizza Mill (360) 795-3311 (free pizza delivery)
