SEXUAL ASSAULT/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATE
SEXUAL ASSAULT/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATE: The Charlotte House Shelter and Services, a program of St. James Family Center, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. This person will provide program administrative support and direct services to families and individuals who have experienced sexual assault or domestic violence. Requirements: • AA degree or completion of High School or GED with 2 years’ experience • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to conduct educational programs in community settings • Strong organizational and computer skills • Willingness to complete 30 hour Core Sexual Assault Training, 20 hour Domestic Violence Training and additional training as needed • Ability to participate in rotation for after-hours call coverage • Ability to work 40 hours a week • Ability to pass a Background Check • Valid WA State Driver’s License • *Proof of Covid 19 vaccination. Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, paid holiday, paid vacation, sick leave, retirement and childcare stipend. Pay depends on experience.
