    Last Tuesday, during what Coach Tina Merz described as “a gorgeous day in Mossyrock,” Wahkiakum High School’s track and field team pitted itself against seven other teams. Among the top-five or personal records for the boys was Jayden Stoddard, who took third in the Men’s 100M with a time of 12.22. Mason Waldek’s time of 12.6 in the same event was good enough for a personal record.     Following its 10-9 walk-off win against Wahkiakum on April 22, the Naselle Comets softball team took a tough 12-5 at Ilwaco last Thursday, April 24. The Comets were led by Avrey Ford, who knocked in two runs while collecting two hits and scoring a run.
