Wauna Engineer Henry Fennell gives robotics team captain Evie Davidson a check for $1,000 for robotics equipment. Georgia Pacific supports technology education throughout the area and awarded the Wahkiakum School District robotics club this grant for equipment for the second year. In making the award, Kristi Ward, Public Affairs Manager for Wauna Mills Georgia Pacific, stated that the company was very pleased with the work being done at WSD supporting STEM education. Henry Fennell, senior project engineer at Wauna, presented the award. FIRST Tech Challenge team captain Evie Davidson accepted the award with school superintendent Brent Freeman and team members and coaches all looking on.
