A new fish cleaning station was installed at the Elochoman Slough Marina on Monday. The table has a cutting board and room for four stations and water spigots. The port staff will periodically empty fish waste from buckets to avoid drawing sea lions to the marina and to cut down on the smell. The station was designed and fabricated by RD Olsen Mfg, Inc of Kelso, and cost $5,900, considerably less than the firm's initial estimate of $9,500.
