    On Saturday, 39 Wahkiakum students put on two performances of the Missoula Children's Theatre production of Sleeping Beauty to the delight of family and friends. The character of the jester, played by MCT actor/director Alyssa Cooper, drove the action and was in most of the scenes. The students only have five days to learn their lines, songs and dances as well as cues and stage directions, and it works well.     HALF NICE--Easter weekend may not have been completely nice, but most of Saturday was, so the Lions Club Easter Egg hunt didn't happen in the pouring down rain. Actually, it didn't start getting wet until evening time here, so it was a pretty good day, and with so many events taking place, it was great to not have to wear boots and slosh around through the puddles.     PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A 623-foot bulk carrier ran aground Monday morning in a narrow part of the Columbia River near Cathlamet.     Wahkiakum County commissioners will visit the Grays River Valley Center at Johnson Park, Rosburg, next Tuesday.     Unsworthy and Norman said the Oregon and Washington departments continue to study fisheries under the Kitzhaber Plan with an eye on evaluating it at the end of the year. The plan, named after former Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber, basically allocates the majority of salmon harvest in the Columbia to anglers, shifts commercial gillnetters into side channels, and encourages development of alternative commercial gear.
