Salal Spring ArtsFestival set at LCC

The public is invited to Lower Columbia College on May 18, for the Salal Spring Arts Festival. No admission is charged to any of these events.

• 10 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. --SLIP Club raku pottery demonstration and “Empty Bowls” sale on the Main Building walkway.

• 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. -- Phi Theta Kappa Annual Book Giveaway & Karen Turner Memorial Bake Sale in the Student Center. The Bake sale benefits the American Cancer Society.)

• 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. -- Workshop: Watercolor artist Carol Boudreau in Student Center Conference Room A.

• 12:45-2:00 p.m. -- Workshop: Ceramic potter Richard Roth in Student Center Conference Room B.

• 2:30-4:30 p.m. -- Workshop: Poet/printer Paul Hunter in Student Center Conference Room C.

• 4:30-5:45 p.m. -- Artwork viewing time in the Student Center.

• 5:30-8 p.m. -- Salal Review Magazine Launch in the Student Center.Paul Hunter and Salal Review contributors will be reading. Refreshments will be served.

The Salal Spring Arts Festival is sponsored by the Associated Students of Lower Columbia College, Lower Columbia College Foundation and Lower Columbia College Honors Program.
