Two Mules win events at Classic

Two Mule athletes won events at the Chehalis Activators Track and Field Classic, a two-day meet held April 18 and 19.

Sara Doumit won the finals in the triple jump with an effort of 29'7".

Alec Sealund won the triple jump with an effort of 36'5", and Jake Goldsmith placed sixth at 34'10".

Several other Mule athletes placed in the meet.

Kevin O'Connor reached the finals in the boys 800m and placed eighth, 2:16.36. Jared McEntire placed 19th in the 1600m finals, 5:49.51.

Shay Bingham finished second in the pole vault at 9'6". Mike Weiler placed eighth in the high jump, 5'; and Riley Prestegard finished 13th, 4'10". Jared McEntire placed 19th in the 1600m finals at 5:49.51.

Jasmine Bingham had the fastest time in the preliminaries of the 100m, 13.19, but didn't compete in the finals. Jewell Dyer placed 15th in the 800m finals, 3:02.87.
