To The Eagle:

We have been taxpayers in Wahkiakum County for 28 years and have faithfully followed this community through al of its highs and lows.

We totally agree with the letter from Mr. Adam Fletcher that a great injustice was committed in your county with the release of Mr. Steve McClain.

Might we suggest perhaps the way to rid your county of these abrupt and senseless actions would be to suggest the citizens to support in electing Mr. McClain to replace a presiding port commissioner?

His history of selfless dedication and service to your community is a matter of record and you would have the opportunity to replace a commissioner with this man of integrity.

Your county certainly deserves better than what it has at present.
