Runners make Great White Tail Run a success

The Wahkiakum County 4-H sponsored Great White Tail Run was held on May 15 with cool weather, 55 participants and 10 dogs.

The results of the run are as follows:

Two mile:

Female--Top Over All - Wendy Montgomery, 22.20; 12 and under- 1st, Makayla Matthews; 30 to 39 – 1st, Emma Hammond, 2nd, Barb Speer, 3rd, Kelly Guest and Terri Elfers & dog; 40 to 49 – 1st, Mimosa Eckert.

Male-- Top Over All - Keith Reitz, 17.10; 12 and under – 1st, Jacob Hammond; 40 to 49 – 1st Brian Macy, 2nd Nick Hammond.

5 K:

Female--Top Over All – Rory Heywood, 30.38; 12 and under – 1st Mariah Mogush.
