Thomas Middle School wrestlers are competing this year with middle schools in the Longview/Kelso area and are 13-6 after two matches. Here are result so far as reported by Coach Paul Johns.

--Brandon Budd has won his first three bouts with falls (pins).

--Luke Stacey has won his first two bouts with falls.

--Alex Johnson has a 3-0 record, with two wins by falls.

--Trystan Mendez is 2-1, with two wins by falls.

--Kody Vik is 2-1, with two falls and a 4-2 loss.

--Sonvir Mann is 1-1, with a win by fall.

Kaleb Stensland is working hard and anticipating his first victory, Johns said. Jacob Morris, Clifton Reynolds, CJ Lorenzo and Chad Andree will join the action at this week's match at Coweeman Middle School, Friday, 3:30 p.m.

"It's been a great start to this year," Johns said. "We were apprehensive about wrestling in the Kelso/Longview league, but our kids have made a great showing."
