Caregiver classes provided

The Powerful Tools for Caregivers course is for family members caring for a loved one at home. Classes will provide persons with tools and tips to better handle the unique challenges they face. Class participants learn to reduce personal stress, communicate their needs to family members and healthcare providers, deal with difficult feelings, and make tough caregiving decisions.

This six week class series is free and open to spouses, partners, adult children, and friends caring for a loved one at home. Due to limited space, registration is required. Call 360-577-4929 to register and obtain more information about the course. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m., May 13-June 17 at 351 Three Rivers Drive, Kelso.
