Oscar B. repairs nearly finished

Ferry coming out of drydock Tuesday for US Coast Guard testing

Chuck Beyer, Wahkiakum County Public Works Director, on Monday said that is his understanding that the ferry Oscar B. will be taken off of dry dock tomorrow (Tuesday) and run through a series of US Coast Guard tests to verify that the repairs are complete.

Once the ferry passes all required tests, the crew will bring the vessel back to Cathlamet, and it will be running on the regular schedule.
