The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Naselle Middle School knowledge bowl teams competed in their final meet on February 26 at Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen.

The Naselle 8th grade team consisted of Abby Moten, Zanith Wulf, Haley Depoe, Jaclyn Steenerson, Hannah Wirkkala, Cody Condon, and Ethan Lindstrom. The 8th grade team competed against 14 other teams from Elma, Montesano, Ocosta, North Beach, Hoquiam, Ilwaco and Wishkah. The 8th grade team placed 5th out of 15 at this meet and 5th overall for the season.

The Naselle 7th grade team was comprised of Emma Colombo, Abigail Knopski, Travis Popkin, Renton Miller, Jimmy Strange and Kolby Glenn. The 7th grade team placed 4th out of 12 teams at Friday's meet and 4th overall for the season. The 7th grade team did place 1st at one meet and 3rd at another.

The Naselle High School team, Meme Team 2015, will compete at the state knowledge bowl tournament in Arlington on Saturday, March 19. Meme Team 2015 is comprised of senior Ramzi Estes and juniors Cameron Burch, Raja Estes, Kyryn Jacot, Selah Wulf, and Andrew Todd.
