The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

On January 31 at 6 p.m., former WSU Master Gardener Nancy Chennault will speak about the care and operation of a hobbyist greenhouse owner.

The audience will learn how to get started, what to buy regarding size, temperature control, lighting and ventilation. Chennault will also talk about yard placement, supplies, what to plant and when and even some alternatives to a greenhouse.

This is the program for people who are interested in gardening and own a greenhouse or who are thinking about building or buying one. The class will be held for free in the Fair Exposition located in Longview on the Cowlitz County fairgrounds. The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.
