Child safety seat technicians offer free car-seat checks

Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services will conduct child passenger safety seat inspections at St. James Family Center on Saturday March 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Health and Safety Jamboree. The inspections will take place in the parking lot at 1134 Columbia St.

Wahkiakum County Health Department Certified Technicians will inspect the installation and safety of car seats as well as answer questions. This is open to parents, grandparents, caregivers or anyone who transports children. Wahkiakum County residence is not a requirement for technicians to inspect your child safety seat, the service is offered to all.
