Film tells stories of coming out

On Sunday, Lower Columbia PFLAG will meet at St. James Family Center in Cathlamet at 5 p.m. and view a short documentary film, I Came Out.

It was created by Tacoma PFLAG to show the importance of living life honestly. It also shows that it is not just LGBTQ people who deal with coming out. PFLAG parents, LGBTQ folks and others tell their coming out stories of why and how they came out. Shelly Cooper of Tacoma PFLAG and PFLAG Washington State Council will be there to present the film. All interested persons are invited to view the film.

PFLAG is a support, educational and advocacy group for Parents, Friends and Family of Lesbians and Gays.
