2015 WHS graduate Samantha Boyce was recently named Female Athlete of the Year at Lower Columbia College. Boyce, who excelled in Mule sports, competed for the Red Devil basketball and softball teams. Boyce has had offers to play softball at several colleges but is still weighing her options. She is also considering remaining in Cathlamet to work as a corrections officer at the Wahkiakum County Jail. Courtesy photo.
