Summer is officially here and we are excited to offer some fantastic events throughout June and July. Our Free Book Exchange was a huge success! In fact, we have decided to extend it for a few more days. Please feel free to pop in and grab a couple Free Books. Don’t forget about Free Friday Night Movie every Friday night starting at 7:00 p.m. Free Popcorn and you are welcome to bring your own snacks. This Friday’s (June 23rd) movie is titled “Denial.” It is a historical drama for adult audiences.

Our Free Computer Classes continue on Wednesday, July 5 from 10:00-12:00. The instructor is wonderful and works with all individuals on a one on one basis. No matter what your level of computer skills is Jason can help. At the same time WorkSource will be here offering Employment opportunities and strategies. Last month, they brought job postings and applications for several businesses. If you need assistance with transportation to these events please call Wahkiakum On The Move at 795-3101.

There will be a Free Hearing Screening on July 19 from 2-5 p.m. Avada Hearing will be on hand to check your hearing and offer free appointments if further testing is needed. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone.

Our Community Robotics Presentation will be Wednesday, July 26 from 6-8 p.m. Come check out the robots our kids are programming for the land, air, and water! Learn of their competitions, field trips and their plans for the upcoming year. It is truly amazing what these kids have accomplished!
