The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Friends of Skamokawa will sponsor a summer exhibit called ‘For the Love of the River.' They asked the artists of Wahkiakum County to make something expressing their views of the Lower Columbia Basin.

There are photographs, sculptures, poetry, paintings, textiles, and more, showing the variety of local artists' views and the beauty of the Lower Columbia Basin.

This exhibit opens on Sunday, July 16 and will run until Labor Day Weekend, September 3. Redmen Hall is open Thursday - Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m., and is located at 1394 SR 4 in Skamokawa.
