On September 26 at 6:00 p.m., WSU Master Gardener Betty Manes will demonstrate how to grow the most popular herbs that one can enjoy fresh from their own garden.

No room for a garden? No problem! Container gardening with herbs can be decorative as well as useful.

What to do with herbs after harvest will be discussed such as in preserving, storage and easy usage of these flavorful plants.

The class will be held for free in the Fair Exposition located in Longview at the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds. The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.
