Grays River Valley Community Center @ Johnson Park welcomes you to come and enjoy your Community Center.Coming up we are excited to have our Winter Harvest Dinner. The Grays River Valley Center is selling tickets.We sold out last year, so don't hesitate to buy them now. This dinner comes with all the fixings. Tickets can be purchased from any board member. Things are looking pretty creepy at Grays River Valley Center @ Johnson Park, ghosts, goblins, and a lot more are getting ready for Halloween. Hot dogs & drinks, a spooky movie and lots of fun, laughter and screams: October 31, 4:30-7:00 p.m.

The Grays River Library would like to thank the Timberland library for the large donations of books, we are all enjoying them. We are also getting another huge donation from The Friends of the library, Bend, Oregon. This will make the library complete, come and enjoy the large variety of books for all ages. A big thank you to Judy Adamson for all the work she has put into the library and making this a huge success. Look for our grand opening soon. The Library hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The Library is not accepting anymore paperbacks or VHS tapes at this time. Thank you to all who have donated in the past.


Activities at the center include :

Coffee Time Monday - Friday 7:00 - 9:00 a.m.

Gene Quilaugh - Basketball Tuesdays 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Sewing Room Tuesdays 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Hosted by Cindy Lahti 360-465-2880.

Fridays 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Hosted by Denise Blanchard 360-355-0472. Bring your sewing projects or start some new ones. Classes will be offered on different interests. Watch for a schedule soon. On Fridays small alteration jobs will be accepted.

TOPS - Holds their meetings on Thursdays 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., and welcomes new members.

West End Food Bank - Thursdays 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Aerobics class Monday-Wednesday and Fridays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Hooks and Needles Class - is on Saturdays 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Bring your ideas, and projects.

Movie Night - Fridays doors open at 6:30, movie starts at 7:00 p.m. The first Friday of the month is a children's movie. A great thing to do with the family.

Grays River Habitat Enrichment District meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:15 p.m.

WIC (by appointment) is on the 1st Monday of the month 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Community Outreach (by appointment) the 4th Thursday of the month from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

A full exercise room, for sponsors to enjoy. A huge activity room with pool table, movies, VHS and DVD's to watch. This room and our conference room can also be rented out for birthdays, receptions, reunions, etc. A full kitchen (equipped with everything) and a cafeteria for rent. A gym - basketball etc., a room of fun.
