Happy Birthday to the following: Jeff Indermark, Jennifer Penttila, Becky Erickson, Glenn Ray, Roxanne Hendrickson and Marilyn Strange. Wishing each of you a wonderful day.

Happy Anniversary to Wayne and Becky Erickson. Here’s to many more celebrations together.

I had a delightful time last weekend with two of my grandsons, age seven and five. After all these years, keeping up with kiddos this age is quite the challenge for us oldsters. We had such a wonderful time going to the beach, carving pumpkins, walking the dogs, relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying lots of cuddles. I can only wish this kind of joy on all grandparents. Thank you for all the fun, Emmett and Wyatt. We will do it again soon.

This coming weekend I will be venturing over the mountains to Redmond, Ore., to spend time with my great grandsons as the 8-year-old will be playing a football game that Grammie promised to attend. I will also get to see two grandkids and two kids while I’m there, but the main attraction will be my young football player. Love and family is what makes the world go round for me. Everyone have a great weekend.
