The Oregon Brass Quintet will perform at the Liberty Theater, 1203 Commercial Street, Astoria, on April 26, 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $20, students free.

The Oregon Brass Quintet has been in residence at the University of Oregon since the early 1970’s. Comprised of the brass faculty members from the UO School of Music and Dance, the OBQ promotes brass chamber music in its region through clinics, educational programs, and recitals. The OBQ has performed extensively throughout the Northwestern states in a variety of venues including school concerts, concert halls, and educational conferences, including the MENC/All Northwest Conference.

The Liberty Theatre is proud to present its first Classical Series season to their patrons. In addition to performances by world-class musicians, each of the ensembles is working with the students of Astoria High School.
