May 14 — 3:55 p.m. A caller reported that a man and woman were fighting near an Elochoman Valley bridge. Deputies responded but were unable to locate the couple. 6:19 p.m. The Grays River ambulance aided a Grays River resident who was having complications due to diabetes. 7:04 p.m. An individual was taken into custody after a vehicle stop near Flandersville.

May 15 — 8:25 a.m. The Grays River ambulance provided a lift assist to a Grays River resident who had fallen and could not get up. 8:36 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Cathlamet resident who was experiencing bleeding after a catheter had been removed. 9:56 a.m. A driver was cited for not wearing a seatbelt. 10:17 a.m. A caller said that it appeared that his vehicle had been struck by a trailer while it was parked at the marina in Cathlamet. 5:43 p.m. An individual reported that a tire on his truck had been destroyed by large rocks that had been left on East Valley Road during some kind of construction.

May 16 — 10:07 a.m. A caller requested an officer to standby while he picked up equipment at an Elochoman Valley address. 10:13 a.m. A driver was cited for not wearing a seatbelt. 10:45 a.m. An alarm was activated at an Elochoman Valley address. 11:16 a.m. A driver was cited for speeding on Beaver Creek Road. 12:05 p.m. A caller reported malicious mischief involving logging equipment. 12:30 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an individual in the Elochoman Valley who had lacerations to his fingers. 2:17 p.m. A driver was cited for an expired registration and failure to stop. 5:51 p.m. A caller reported that his daughter had been assaulted at a Cathlamet school. 9:18 p.m. A driver struck a deer on a Rosburg Road.

May 17 — 5:16 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Cathlamet resident with heart issues. 8:48 a.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported that someone had violated a restraining order. 12:26 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported that a family member had given her rifle to someone, and that person would not return it. The rifle was taken to the sheriff’s office for safe keeping. 3:48 p.m. A caller from St. James Family Center reported that staff had been threatened. 4:13 p.m. A phone box in the Grays River area had been struck by a mower.

May 18 — 10:55 a.m. A caller reported that someone staying at Vista Park had violated a restraining order. 11:30 a.m. A Rosburg resident asked deputies to remove an individual from her property. A deputy and a representative from the mental health department responded. The individual was allowed to enter the house to gather belongings, and the resident was advised on the eviction process. 5:08 p.m. A caller reported being approached by an aggressive dog while walking on Puget Island. 5:10 p.m. A deputy was asked to accompany a mental health representative on a visit to a Rosburg home. 6:59 p.m. A driver was cited for speed in Grays River. 8:19 p.m. A caller reported that a child had been bitten by a dog while they were at the marina. 9:14 p.m. A caller reported that an erratic driver had pulled into the parking lot of a Rosedale business.

May 19 — 12:11 a.m. A caller reported an erratic driver heading west on SR 4. 12:56 a.m. A caller reported that someone kept moving the traffic cones on the Puget Island bridge into the middle of the open lane. 8:52 a.m. A Skamokawa resident reported that someone had dug a large trench on his property without permission. 8:55 a.m. A caller reported that she and some members from her church were headed to a house in the Skamokawa area to help a woman retrieve her belongings from her estranged husband. 9:32 a.m. A caller reported that a truck pulling a trailer in Cathlamet was losing part of its load. 10:33 a.m. A caller reported that she had broken down in the Deep River area and that her husband planned to tow the vehicle. She said that the vehicle was close to guard rail and that they would need to block the road temporarily. 11:32 a.m. A caller reported that he had found people squatting on his east county property. 1:52 p.m. A caller reported that a vehicle backed into a pole in Cathlamet. 2:34 p.m. A caller asked a deputy to verify a VIN for Department of Licensing registration requirements. 2:43 p.m. The Grays River ambulance aided an ailing Deep River resident. 4:30 p.m. A driver was cited for speed in the Elochoman Valley. 5:17 p.m. A driver was cited for speed and taken into custody after a vehicle stop in the Elochoman Valley.

May 20 — 1:53 a.m. A caller reported that a vehicle had broken down on Greenwood Road. He was advised to put on emergency lights and call a tow. 8:44 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an Elochoman Valley resident with a bad headache. 11:37 a.m. A caller asked, per Child Protective Services, that a child be taken into protective custody, after parents threatened to kick the child out of their home. 12:16 p.m. A caller reported a truck in Cathlamet with unrestrained children in the back. 1:08 p.m. A vehicle went in a ditch on SR 4 near Cathlamet. 1:59 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Puget Island resident who had fallen and may have broken his leg. 4:07 p.m. A caller reported an erratic driver, who was stopped and taken into custody. 4:23 p.m. The Grays River ambulance aided a Grays River resident after a medical pendant had been activated. 4:49 p.m. The Grays River Fire Department and the Grays River ambulance responded when a woman fell and may have broken an arm in the Rosburg area. 9:54 p.m. A caller reported an erratic driver heading west on SR 4. 11:32 p.m. A driver went off the road west of Skamokawa after falling asleep behind the wheel. No injuries were reported, but a tow was requested.
