The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Wahkiakum School District music program is getting a big boost from Music Aid Northwest and Washington Music Educators Association. On June 1, music teacher Darla Mead was notified that the district will receive not one but two grants totaling just over $11,000.

The school district will be presented with a check in the fall.
