USDA surveying infrastructure

The US Department of Agriculture Rural Development program will take input on what infrastructure projects people in Wahkiakum County would like to see developed.

The session will occur August 9, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, in the River Street Meeting Room, 25 River Street, Cathlamet.

The agency offers loans, grants and loan guarantees to help create jobs and support economic development and essential services such as housing, health care, first responder services and equipment, and water, electric and communications infrastructure. The agency also provides some technical support.
