Some of us on wells are feeling the effects of low water and no rain in sight, me included. If you need water brought to you, I have a name you can call. He is very prompt and reasonable. His business is called Water Supply (Jeff Deal) from Castle Rock and his number is 360 430-0789. His e-mail is: watersupply360@yahoo.com. He will deliver up to 3000 gallons of water at a time.

Happy Birthday to the following celebrants this week:Lauren Steenerson, Kolten Lindstrom, Tina M. Fauver, Jon Gudmundsen, Sophia Colombo, Emma Pearl Kragerud, Mona Givens, Luke Gardner, Kim Gray and River Andring. Wishing all of you a perfect day.

A belated Happy Birthday to a very special young man, Gus Burkhalter. He and his brothers, Bowen and Theo, were very involved this past weekend in the cow barn at the Wahkiakum County Fair.

Happy Anniversary to Alex and Kelsi Bennett, Tim and Amber Haataia, Robert and Dawn Footh and Lonnie and Kim Eaton. Here's to many more celebrations.

Former Deep River resident Ann Bulick recently passed away, and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 3 p.m. in the Grays River Valley Center at Johnson Park. Ann is survived by her husband, Dave and her two daughters, Yvonne and Deanne and many friends. You are invited to bring your favorite potluck dish, as well as any pictures and stories you would like to share.

Ann was quite the character, she minced no words and said what was on her mind whether you liked it or not. She was a loyal friend, a hard worker and never gave up even when her health made it very difficult. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by many. Rest in peace, my friend.
