Marian Doumit Peterson died in Seaside, Ore., on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018. Marian was born in Cathlamet, Wash., on Dec. 9, 1913, to John and Helen Doumit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Peterson, and seven of her siblings.

Marian is survived by her sister, Helen Wampler, of Fresno, Calif .; her daughter, Linda (Russell) Keizer, of Warrenton, Ore .; her son, Robert (Phyllis) Peterson, of Eagle, Ida .; four grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Marian was a past member of the Astoria Golf & Country Club, an avid bridge player and member of the American Contract Bridge Association.

She spent over 5,000 volunteer hours at Providence Seaside Hospital, and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Seaside.

A memorial will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. A rosary is at 10:30 a.m., and Mass is at 11 a.m.

A luncheon reception will follow at the Astoria Golf & Country Club.
