Have you ever stood in an old cemetery and thought, "How I wish these gravestones could talk."? Well, here’s your chance! Bunker Hill Cemetery Association, Stella Historical Society and the Cowlitz County Historical Museum invite you to experience history as it comes to life in a unique and fascinating way.

Bunker Hill Cemetery graves date back to the 1870s. The people were loggers, farmers, teachers and early settlers of the Stella and surrounding area. Enactors will portray some of those people while standing at their graves and share their stories. Participants will be able to learn and relive the history of the area and lives of the people during those past days.

Bunker Hill Cemetery will be hosting tours on Saturday, September 22. The tours will start every 30 minutes between 3:00pm and 5:30pm. The tour is recommended for those aged 10 and up. A suggested donation is $5 a person. The terrain is uneven, so comfortable, safe shoes are recommended. Some seating will be available.
