September 24 — 12:09 a.m. A driver was cited for not having insurance. 2:22 p.m. A welfare check was requested for a woman and two children. A deputy made contact with the woman, who said everyone was fine. 3:40 p.m. A two vehicle accident was reported in the Rosedale area. No one appeared to be injured. 6:31 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an ailing Cathlamet resident. The individual refused transport. 6:56 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Rosedale resident who was experiencing complications after a recent surgery. 7:31 p.m. A Cathlamet resident informed a neighbor that there was a burn ban in effect. The neighbor put out his fire, but his girlfriend came out and cursed at the caller for her trouble. 8:23 p.m. A driver found first a bicycle then a couple fighting in the middle of Elochoman Valley Road. The man had something in his hand. The woman flagged down a deputy and the man ran into a field. More deputies, state patrol, and a K-9 unit responded. A door was found open at the hatchery, but the man was not located and the search was called off for the night. However, the man was located and taken into custody at 9:12 p.m.

September 25 — 4:46 a.m. A caller reported that a vehicle was racing up and down Elochoman Valley Road. 10:56 a.m. A caller reported that someone was dumping grey water into Deep River. 2:54 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported that a neighbor’s dog was allowed to run loose and had been getting into his trash repeatedly. 3:48 p.m. A driver was cited for driving with a suspended license. 6:02 p.m. An individual believed to have been involved in a domestic violence case was taken into custody. 8:31 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Rosedale resident who was having a seizure.

September 26 — 10:27 a.m. The Grays River Fire Department responded to the report of a brush fire in the Deep River area. It turned out to be a campfire. The people were informed of the burn ban and put out the fire. 11:54 a.m. Someone was harassing Washington State Department of Transportation employees who were clearing brush on Puget Island. 12:30 p.m. A deputy was requested at a Cathlamet school after a fight was caught on a security camera. 1:15 p.m. An alarm was activated at a Rosburg home. 2:31 p.m. A driver asked for a deputy to assist with traffic control after his trailer went into a ditch on SR 4 in the Rosburg area. 3:24 p.m. A caller reported finding a possible bag of drugs at the clothing bank in Rosedale. The substance was tested and came up negative. 4:28 p.m. A caller said that a bicycle had been left on the side of Elochoman Valley Road for a couple days. She said she would take it to her home. 4:57 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a clinic patient who could not stop vomiting. 5:48 p.m. A caller reported hearing an alarm on East Sunny Sands Road. A deputy investigated and found it was a septic alarm. 5:52 p.m. A caller reported drivers speeding on East Deep River Road. 7:24 p.m. A Rosedale resident reported that someone had been in his house and that a blanket was missing. 9:37 p.m. An erratic driver was reported to be heading west on SR 4 from County Line Park. 10:33 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported that several people were outside his home walking up and down the road with flashlights. 11:39 p.m. A caller reported seeing someone walking away from a disabled vehicle on KM.

September 27 — 11:29 a.m. A welfare check was requested for a Puget Island resident. 11:33 a.m. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle had been left at Erickson Park for a week. 11:38 a.m. A caller reported that two men were going through a dumpster at KM. A deputy responded and told the men that salvaging was not allowed. They unloaded their truck and left. 12:51 p.m. A panic alarm was activated at a Rosburg home. A deputy responded. 3:17 p.m. A panic alarm was activated at a bank in Cathlamet. A deputy responded. 6:07 p.m. A truck and trailer were seen traveling on SR 4 in the Cathlamet area at high speeds.

September 28 — 12:01 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Puget Island resident with an irregular heartbeat. 11:02 a.m. A ring was found in the Deep River area. 12:18 p.m. A welfare check was requested for a Puget Island resident. 1:09 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Rosedale resident complaining of neck and back pain. 1:27 p.m. A local agency asked for deputy assistance with the welfare check of a Cathlamet resident. 1:28 p.m. A Deep River resident complained that a neighbor had thrown trash on his driveway, not for the first time. A deputy contacted the subject. 3:37 p.m. An erratic driver was seen headed east on SR 4 in the Skamokawa area. 4:15 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an ailing Rosedale resident. 5:16 p.m. A caller reported that someone in Deep River was driving recklessly and had a beer in his hand. A deputy responded and found the vehicle, parked, the driver not around. 9:34 p.m. A deputy was asked for assistance after an individual got locked out of her home. 11:58 p.m. A caller reported an upset young woman walking on a Puget Island road with someone following in a truck. A deputy followed up.

September 29 — 8:00 a.m. An alarm was activated at the Rosburg store. A deputy responded and the alarm was reset. 11:09 a.m. An ounce of oil was spilled in the Columbia River, according to a caller. 12:14 p.m. A deputy requested a welfare check on an individual in Lewiston, Idaho after a caller in Cathlamet said something about “putting her down.” 1:11 p.m. A caller was concerned about residents of a Rosedale home who were out of food and needed some assistance. 4:05 p.m. A driver was cited for passing in a no passing zone. 8:45 p.m. A caller reported that a vehicle had broken down and was partially blocking the one lane open on SR 4 at Stella. 10:48 p.m. Skamania County asked for assistance when someone went missing in the woods. Three local search and rescue members responded.

September 30 — 8:17 a.m. State patrol and a deputy responded when a caller reported that someone in a vehicle had rolled down a window and yelled for help. They were unable to locate the vehicle. 9:28 a.m. The county road crew responded when a caller reported that a tree was down on a blind corner on Beaver Creek Road. 10:18 a.m. A Skamokawa resident reported that a cow was missing. 10:28 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Cathlamet resident who had fallen. 10:47 a.m. A caller asked for assistance after being threatened by a possibly armed neighbor while working on a property in Skamokawa. 1:17 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an inmate with a self inflicted wound at the county jail. He was taken to the hospital. 1:33 p.m. The Puget Island Fire Department responded when a Puget Island resident reported that a neighbor was burning garbage. The neighbor put out the fire. 2:14 p.m. A trailer was stolen from a Puget Island home. 4:43 p.m. A welfare check was requested for an Elochoman Valley resident.
