On November 1 at 6:00 p.m., the Cowlitz County Environmental Health Department will discuss how to maintain and inspect a septic system.

Discussion will include learning how a septic system works, how to inspect a system to be sure it is working correctly and what to do to extend the life of a system.

The program, sponsored by Washington State University Extension and the Cowlitz County Environmental Health Department, will be held for free.
