Randy A. Nakonsky, 64, of Cathlamet, died October 20, 2018 at the Longview Hospice Center.

He was born March 3, 1954 in Lebanon, Ore., to William and Nora (Donovan) Nakonsky. He graduated from Lebanon High School and earned an AA degree in Computer Science. He was a computer technician for the Longview School District for 26 years and a Maintenance Supervisor at Wahkiakum High School.

He moved to Longview in 1981 and to Cathlamet in 2006. He and Patty Nakonsky were married October 8, 1983 and they celebrated their 35th anniversary recently.

He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Randy was a very mellow person with a huge heart and would help anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Toby Nakonsky and daughter Tana Nakonsky.

Survivors include his wife, at home; brothers Ron (Terrill) Nakonsky of Cathlamet and Tim Nakonsky of Salem, Ore .; sons Jason Nakonsky of North Bend and Jerry (Heather) Nakonsky of Cathlamet; daugher Chrissy Nakonsky of Long Beach; granddaughter Kayleigh Nakonsky of Cathlamet and grandsons Dakota Nakonsky of Cathlamet and Brandon (Kali) Nakonsky of Oak Harbor.

A celebration of life will be held November 10, noon, at John C. Thomas Middle School in Cathlamet.
