The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Evelyn Clark, a 2010 Wahkiakum High School graduate, was crowned Miss Washington USA 2019 on Sunday night at Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien, Washington. She will represent Washington in the 2019 Miss USA pageant.

Clark works as a paralegal in Bellevue, and spends her summers in Bristol Bay, Alaska, where she owns a set net site and a fishing permit and works as a commercial fisherman. Evelyn is the daughter of Mike and Leah Clark of Puget Island.

This was the seventh and final time she planned to compete in the event.
