Taylor Gudmundsen, Naselle, Volleyball (SR) is one of the athletes of the week honored this week by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).

Gudmundsen led her team to a seventh place finish at last week’s State Tournament in Yakima. She racked up 119 assists, 41 digs, 15 kills, and 13 aces in four matches.

The WIAA announced its/Wendy’s Athlete of the Week winners for Week 11 (Nov. 4-Nov.10), on Wednesday.

Each week throughout the school year, the WIAA recognizes varsity athletes who exhibited an outstanding performance for the previous week (based off of nominations). All varsity level students in good academic standing at their schools are eligible to receive the WIAA/Wendy’s Athlete of the Week Award. Students may win the award once during any given academic year.
